Building development

2010 is an important year for St Michael’s. Soft areas at the front of the church will shortly be re-planted, and a certain amount of hard landscaping introduced. Disability access work has begun, providing ramped access to the hall, and a large toilet, shower and baby changing room. In August, the murals and the rest of the church interior will be cleaned and restored. In the autumn, three sets of glass doors will be installed at the front entrance of the church. These and other works will enable St Michael’s to celebrate its 50th anniversary year (2011) with style.

Monthly teenage group

A monthly teenage group meets after the Parish Eucharist on the last Sunday of every month, from 11.30 am – 1.15 pm.

Evening Prayer

A quiet service of evening prayer takes place from 7.00 – 8.00 pm on the last Sunday of each month.

Angel Voices

Tunes for toddlers: Tuesdays in term time from 9.45 – 10.30 am in church. There is no charge but a donation towards costs is welcome.

Open Church

The church will be open on selected days over the coming year. As a rule of thumb, you should be able to see the church every Saturday from the beginning of June to the end of September (10.00 am to 4.00 pm). For further details contact Elizabeth.
