2010 is an important year for St Michael’s. Soft areas at the front of the church will shortly be re-planted, and a certain amount of hard landscaping introduced. Disability access work has begun, providing ramped access to the hall, and a large toilet, shower and baby changing room. In August, the murals and the rest of the church interior will be cleaned and restored. In the autumn, three sets of glass doors will be installed at the front entrance of the church. These and other works will enable St Michael’s to celebrate its 50th anniversary year (2011) with style.
